The information is populated automatically based on the setup. The only
thing I used the scripting toolkit for was to populate the CDS name on
the 2nd page of the BAR charge. After that, everything worked based on
the KB articles.

Shane, does the presence of a CDS on a B/AR procedure have any effect
when the overnight pharmacy batch is pulled in. I kind of thought it
would want to stop every time that procedure came up and would insist on
an answer. What kind of field do you put on the screen. We are loaded
with the scripting tools if I can just get a vision of what kind of
screen to use and what the mechanics are.

We went through the Meditech suggestion. KB#'s 24675, 18890, 18336
explained this. We had to add the CDS to each pharmacy procedure charge
on page 2 of the chargemaster then also. It really wasn't that bad of a
fix. I was able to script the CDS onto page 2 using Summit Healthcare's
Scripting Toolkit, took less than 5 minutes to write that. I would say
the whole process took about 2 hours (between changes and the script
running, for about 2500 drugs). We are Magic 5.61

Subject: [MEDITECH-L] NDC Billing question

Good day,
I was asked to post the following question~

Effective 1-1-08 MHCP will require the correct 11-digit NDC when billing
all provider-administered non-vaccine drugs with HCPCS codes. What
processes have you developed and what system functionalities do you plan
to use in order to comply? Here is a link to the DHS memo:
