Thanks for the information. It gives me a place to start. I really do believe the issue is within the MM application, as this is where the failure seems to occur.

After about a month or so after go Live we here having hang ups with our Auto-Key Punch routines and we needed a DTS 3612 for MEDITECH's MM module for key punching... (Since it now throws up a message if it is non chargeable etc) And then we had to get a PICIS patch for MedSURG.... So far... Knock on would (or my head) the issues seem to now be minimized and resolved.... I don't know if this is your problem or not... But in our scenario our ports would get hung up and we would need to manually kill them out... Originally it was thought that it was for stock items which didn't have procedure codes connected... But then these items were located... If this is not your exact issue, please clarify... For I would like to keep an eye on our systems for something similar... I've been trying to get MSM autokey routines to MM setup on an Annex server w/o success, and they are telling me I need to buy a Xyplex server. They did load code changes into our TESt when I said we had a new server, but apparently those were only developed to work specifically with Xyplex servers and they won't make coding changes to accommodate any other type. We have MedDietary and MedQM.. What are you having trouble with? Please forward any replies.. We have worked with Picis to make sure we have the latest documentation for the port settings and feel pretty confident that we do. The bar charges are transmitting okay, it is usually when MSM changes to MM to post the patient issues that it is failing. Is anyone else on the Meditech-L having the same issue and did you get it resolved? Any suggestions would be appreciated.
