Meditech System Support Analyst Position Description: We are looking for top quality individuals with a strong work ethic to join our I.T. team. The Analyst will be responsible for the support of the Hospital's Health Information System (Meditech) with emphasis on the Clinical Applications. Candidates need to have 1-3 years experience supporting one or more Meditech Clinical Applications in a Magic environment. As part of a team, the Analyst will provide support and assistance in designing and implementing clinical related applications, including but not limited to Pharmacy, and related applications. Candidates should have excellent communication skills, and proven organizational and time management skills. Responsibilities would include identification and definition of needs, project management for small to medium size projects, user training, and troubleshooting and resolving system issues. Required Skills * Associates Degree with major in an Information Technology or Healthcare related field required, Bachelor's Degree preferred. * 1-3 years experience supporting Meditech Clinical applications. Pharmacy experience preferred. * Ability to work on multiple projects independently or with minimal guidance. * Ability to work on team project, as well as individual projects. * NPR Report writing experience is highly desirable. * Experience with common software applications (ex. MS Office). * Excellent customer interaction skills. * Previous work history that demonstrates steady attendance and punctuality is required. * Proven organizational skills and time management. * Ability to plan and conduct end user training. Job Responsibilities * Functions as an I.T. team member to implement, upgrade and support Meditech Clinical Application systems, with emphasis on PHA, BMV, E-MAR. * Trains and educates users on system functionality. * Monitors system functionality and resolves or reports problems as well as enhancing functionality through process and reports * Troubleshoots and resolves reported system and application problems in the test and production environments. * Develops user sign on and access as appropriate to their job description. * Maintains regular communications regarding project issues. * Tracks application issues and documents resolutions within the CIS work order system. * Position requires participation in an on-call rotation with other I.T. team members.
