I agree that this is worth thinking about, also. WebKit seems superior to Mozilla's Gecko in many ways.

Further, many web apps have been created with WebKit-specific tags [http://oreilly.com/catalog/9780596805791] with the intention that they can form an iPhone app by simply combining a URL with WebKit. (Apple's App Store will accept the app as a webkit+URL combo, essentially.)

It would be great if those apps immediately worked on MeeGo.
