I read the digest as well, and I second Roger's comments. But I have a different suggestion for fixing the problem. I've been following the development of Google's Go programming language, and their golang-nuts Google Group produces some very nice summary emails. In contrast to Mailman's digests, the Google Groups summaries eliminate a lot of quoted text, don't include complete copies of long messages, and are very quick to skim. In addition to summary messages, Google Groups also supports full-message digests, individual mail delivery, and web-only membership like a forum. Moving MeeGo-dev to Google Groups (or something with similar features) would save me quite a bit of time.
