Hi Arjan,

Perhaps this belongs in a separate thread, but I'll just go with this as it
puts things in context.

Does this mean we are planning to use Yum as the package manager
on MeeGo, or is it just for the Netbook edition?

I'm all for using yum, however I remember references to other tools,
iirc zypper. Can you shed some light on the package management
tools of choice?

In the same line, has there been any discussion regarding PackageKit
as the package management platform? Probably it isn't very compelling
as the package format (i.e. RPM) is finalized. But if there's the chance
that different editions might be limited to a different package managing
set of tools, PackageKit can provide a common interface.

Now that 1.0 is out and everything is moving to open, I'm sure we can
expect to see more info and discussion soon.
