I'm afraid it usually doesn't work like that. If you want something to
happen, you're going to have to put work in to make it happen. That
might well mean taking Arora and studying it to see what changes are
worthwhile (if you're not a C++ person) or actually working on making
those changes, and (preferably) talking to the Arora people about how
to push those changes back upstream.

Once you start to lead the way, others will follow, if they like what
you're doing.
