Compared to the previous experience from Moblin, I can also feel very happy about the speed. > - The chromium browser doesn't match the general user experience. I love it (Chrome here, but I don't know the difference). The theme is customizable, I selected a yellow-brown-ish colored theme, and removed the "window manager" window title bar. Perfect. > - The big "meeGo" logo in the top-left of the dropdown panel looks odd. I love it :) All in all, it is just a matter of taste and colors. All in all, MeeGo looks great. > Moblin used to have a clock and calendar there. I find that it is clear > enough that it is meego, no need to shout the name in the bar. Maybe it is > because I personally do not like displaying names and logo's too much, same > reason why I don't by t-shirts with D&G written on the chest or > "Abercrumbie" all over my shoulders.. You can always install your own desktop on top of MeeGo. You can install Xfce, a custom-made desktop with components of your choice, etc. It's actually what I did with Moblin, but I won't do it with MeeGo ;-) And by the way, I like being able to remove the music, bluetooth, internet, chat, ... panel entries :-) I really want to say it again, since it is the first time I'll do it on this m-l, great great work! -- Mike _______________________________________________ MeeGo-dev mailing list [email protected] http://lists.meego.com/listinfo/meego-dev
