App stores will probably come in two varieties: third party ones (i.e. random things like MeeGoApps.com as you mention..) and vendor-specific stores, like Nokia's Ovi and Intel's AppUp. Requirements will vary (obviously, with no central provider), but this also means you can pick and choose to find the best fit for you when the time comes.
