I would recommend taking a look at MIC2 (hint: use a Fedora 12 VM for this), along with http://wiki.meego.com/Image_Creation and for ARM specifically, http://wiki.meego.com/ARM/Creating_ARM_image_using_MeeGo_Image_Creator(which we need to merge into the primary documentation) I'd start with http://repo.meego.com/MeeGo/releases/1.0/core/images/meego-n900-open-armv7l/, with the kickstart file in there. That should give you basics for getting a system running and installing packages with ease. The .raw.bz2 when bunzipped is actually also a file system you can dd to a SD card and try to boot. The N900 images are very generic currently, so. For ARM issues, you can also hang out on #meego-arm on IRC server irc.freenode.net - not a support channel, it's a channel where ARM related MeeGo work happens. But we can probably point you in the right direction for getting a proper ARM port for your target going if you have some patience and willingness to undertake the work needed :) Best regards, Carsten Munk N900 hardware adaptation team member
