Netbooks are rather impractical when you want to change things to the
Meego system, you have to reboot it every time. Netbooks are to light
on computational power for serious compiling as well.
hi David,
Why reboot it every time? I use meego every day and i have to reboot
only on a kernel change (or sometimes, when empathy crash in msn,
whoups! (but works great in irc, and amsn works to)). For serious
compiling you can use a most powerful computer, in a VM perhaps.
Thinks, the computer for Apollo11 was less powerful than a cellphone, so
what is the limit of a netbooks? Maybe mars? :)
But i think is not a discussion in a dev mailing. And maybe you don't
want to go on mars :)
friendly ,
ps: i don't work for intel neither nokia, but i like netbooks in my
sofa, bed, cafe, friends every where, meanwhile computer desktop became
a server and my desktop take dust.
