Mostly curious from perspective that some people has ntfs formatted
USB hds and such and a fairly common topic of netbook usage is
portability in data.

it's been a while (we basically took the decision from moblin2 along), but from what I remember we negatively assessed the stability of it in Linux and we'd rather not ship code that can wipe your data...
