To clarify, I think the use case can be met by having each calendar on
the device synced with one specific calendar via an upstream service.
Currently the UI, nor the infrastructure, makes this particularly easy
on Maemo 5.
So, for example, each calendar to be synced or local, with different
sync services and transports for each; possibly having multiple
instances of the same service. For example:
* Work: synced - MfE -> work.example.com[1]
* Local: local
* Family: synced - CalDAV -> calendar.com/family
* Personal: synced - CalDAV -> calendar.com/personal
If SyncML supports a single transport syncing multiple calendars, that
should be supported too; but I don't think that's *my* use case.
Hope that helps,
Andrew
[1] Ideally with an option to temporarily connect to a VPN when doing that sync.
