merge times for translations vary, and can be up to months. We're
working on making this happen faster.
packages are built only after the developer pushes a build to the
system, there is no involvement from translators here. However, you can
deploy the translation on a test box without that.
How do i change the version number of packages if i add translation by myself?
you do not, this is done automatically by the build system.
