Well in my case I would like to supply an -rt kernel (PREEMPT_RT) with the device (intended for audio). Right now, with the .35 kernel I should be able to patch it, so... ok. But if MeeGo goes to an even-numbered kernel, or the -rt patch tarries, I'm in trouble. (They don't make -rt patches for even-numbered kernels.) > LSB packages already require installation to /opt. LSB says /opt is for "add-on" packages, but LSB allows installation to /usr for regular packages. If I'm an ODM, I would be inclined to package my shipped-with-the-device packages /usr so that ld.so will find the libs. > Line 180: > "A .desktop file shall be installed under > /usr/share/applications and ..." OK, bad example. :-p -gabriel _______________________________________________ MeeGo-dev mailing list [email protected] http://lists.meego.com/listinfo/meego-dev
