Hardware support (non-SSE3, ATI, nVidia, etc) is probably number one
reason. Alternative applications would be number two.

And there are still stuff ConnMan + its MeeGo UI are not able to handle
(WPA2 enterprise for instance..)

And moreover, it is still much easier for "community" people to hack on
their current distribution. And last time I check, we are doing Free
Software, so people are free to do whatever they want with Free Software
code..
