Ok, first share of numbers is there. Now missing:

      * How long do competing systems need to __fully__ store __and__
index them? What time is acceptable?
      * Do we really want to fully sync such large datasets? Shall we
sync only limited datasets, e.g. title and email address?
      * Must contacts be fully searchable right after sync already, or
is it sufficient to only store them for the moment, make them
available per contact id and index them in background later?

I don't see how you concluded Adrien would be proud of this numbers.
We know ourself that they are not optimal.

Still he did something you didn't do: He provided facts, instead of
anecdotes or pipe dreams: "let's switch change technology and suddenly
everything will become better". Actually Nokia did exactly this
schoolbook mistake several times and we all now see the consequences of
such management practice right now. Actually you whine about those
consequences right now.

Ciao
