Yes, but as you said only *some* city have this information available.
My idea is to have the traffic information, as per social application, for
many other country.
The information could be also searched by time and day.

They are not sharing their location. The app should only register the
coordinates
only if the user explicitly want to do this, and all the information will be
sended to
the server in an anonymous way.

The data should be sended whenever the user want (e.g. immediatly after stop
tracking,
if any connection is available or schedule when to update the data). The
data will consist
in a simple text file (or sqlite file).
