Hi, One of the bigger users of space in the images is /usr/lib/locale/locale-archive, which takes up 99mb uncompressed.
It's possible to remove the archive and localedef -f UTF-8 -i en_US en_US.UTF-8 for instance, which leads me to wonder if we perhaps can try a more footprint-oriented approach to locale archives in MeeGo?
