I actually agree with the goal, it would be much better overall to work
with just one public bug tracker. However, from my point of view the
only effect of the current guideline is to add burden on us foot
soldiers. And just about the only thing we can do about the issue is to
complain on mailing lists, which I am doing right not. In order to make
changes happen, the pressure should be applied much higher in the food
chain.
