"NEEDINFO bugs should be assigned back to original bug reporter" Does this mean that "Assigned To" field of this bug should be changed to reporter? Or just ask reporter to input more information? >From my viewpoint, "Assigned To" should not be changed to reporter: + "Assigned To" means the person in charge of resolving the bug. It's obviously that reporter is not that person. + Changing "Assigned To" field to reporter unnecessarily make the bug more complex. Original owner needs to change owner, After reporter inputs needed information, he has to reassign back.
