Hi fellow pythonistas,

Yesterday at Inspire 9 we had an attendance of 25 people for three
talks: Richard showed us what not to do with Python, Ryan talked about
PyPy.js, and Lars showed offf his Great Language Game project.

Thanks all three, and thanks also to everybody who attended.

We also discussed some organisational points:

- suggesting new topics of interest in the list and editing the wiki
to reflect them. This thread is open.

- maybe have some tutorial sessions based on the community's suggested topics.

- BOF sessions based on common interests (I suggested testing in the
context of devops, someone suggested tkinter and GUI programming).

- beer at sessions: Inspire9 have said they can't provide it anymore,
if anybody wants to step up, I'm sure we'll all be very thankful.

- somewhere in the meetup page it says "we don't meet that often
anymore", and someone at the session even aksed if MPUG was a splinter
group. We're fixing that.

Next session will be on 7 October. We already have two talks: Clare
Slogget on Python for Bioinformatics, and Lex Hider on Devops with
Salt. There is space for short talks, and if you have a longer one,
please also come forward and help us fill the pipeline.

Cheers everyone,

Javier
