Hi all,
well the Z had been running nicely, but now it seems its cracked the shits again.
It sounds like a diesel truck and im none to happy. So i pulled off the rocker cover
and low and behold the timing chain seems fairly slack. The slackness is on either
side of the chain depending which way the crank / cam are facing.
My question is, is this normal, when i put the head etc back on i can't
remember if it was or not.
I checked other things such as valve clearances and they seem right so im
putting it down to the chain. I also checked the guides and they are still
tight, i just don't wanta rip off the timing case and the crank pully etc if
it is not the case.
Any suggestions ?
