Why can't they just make one f*%king rule that says you can put anything
(ANYTHING) in your car as long as it is properly engineered?
That way, if it the modification is too exorbitant then the engineer will
simply say 'no way'. Whereas if it is possible, while it may cost a lot of
money to engineer, it will be safe/roadworthy because it has been properly
engineered.
