I cant solve your problem but here are a couple of cheap suggestions.
Its seems to be a fuel supply problem so work through these.
1 Is the fuel pump continuously getting power?. Connect a globe wired
it in series but located in the car to see if it stays on constantly or
flashes on and off when driving. If it flashes you have a power supply
problem.
2 Is the fuel line being blocked/restricted intermittently eg by a piece
of paper or a flake of rust which rotates and acts like a pipe valve. Blow
through the lines to clear any foreign bodies.
3 Is the needle and seat, or float, in the carby sticking, closing off
the fuel flow? Clean the fuel lines as above and needle and seat.
