Hi fellow datto people I striped down my broken Stumpy Skyline box yesterday to
see how bad the new's was going to be with 3rd gear !!! To my surprise the people
who had done the Conversion on box had the the origainal bearing on clustershaft
that was too small !!!!! like its only a $15 bearing and easy to change it stood
out as soon as I split it open so Im sure thes professonals would have known. Now
because of this My gearbox broke Im suprised it has lasted as long as it did.At
least I have found the problem Im sure with it rebuilt properly should last really
well.
Has anybody else out there had bad experiences with so Called pros???Its not as
if it was cheap either I paid $2300 for the engine box and intercooler box was
$450

Ps: that other Dogleg box ended up not being a skyline box :( So im still trying
to source one if anyone has one for sale let me know.
