Pete,
The 4mm strap is fitted to one bolts closest to the inner guard on the top
of the steering box (not the centre adjuster with lock nut). The standard
bolt is replaced with a longer one and a large hardened washer is placed on
top of the strap to tie the strapping down to the top of the box. The strap
will need a gusset to support the nearly right angle (110 degrees?) bend
needed to bolt through the reinforcing plate on the wheel well
