Check out the EFI injectors that bolt on to a weber manifold. Four Plus in
Dandenong stock this gear. Basically its a quad throttle body setup driven
by an electrical EFI pump such as a VL Comodore. I think its as good as
anything I've seen. The big cost is setting up a Motec or Autronic to run
it. Your description below sounds very similar.
I saw this setup on a pretty potent club car I considered. I was impressed
by the simplicity, the tractability and the grunt. As there is no bulky
inlet tract you can run weber style trumpets or build a traditional
elongated style side draught air cleaner. Air flow is measured in the air
cleaner inlet, or at the head of one of the inlet tract trumpets off the LH
strut tower. (For an L series engine)
