Guys
rip the old loom out and rthrow it aay. Draw a rough wiring diagram
including all electricals and their amperage. Get some reels of HIGH TEMP
automotive wire at the right amp rating. Dummy the loom using nylon
clothesline cut to length and installing it as you would expect the wiring
to be. Mark the clothesline appropriately, remove the lengths and use it as
a template or your wires. Cut the wires to suit and wrap in looming wrap
and install.
Use quality crimps and check all crimping to ensure it is correct. I have
wired a 1600 rallycar from scratch in a weekend, but I had planned ahead and
had all the gear. You save weight and done properly you never have to worry
about wiring again.
Remember though a half baked job will burn your car to the ground.
