I had a feeling that the 1600 has all the contectios for the hazard flasher
relay are already there all you need to do is fit a relay into the
contection socket found behind the gauge set (same pin config as the
indicator one) and wire in a switch. But don't quote me on it.
I noticed this when i was rewiring my 1600 but i did'nt test my theory.
