Jeff,
Did you check out the nice 1600 running in the divn 2 sedan races driven by
Ricki Nott (car 146)? Dark Blue with silver side panels. Looked relatively
stock hight suspension and no body mods. Not a fire breather but he had a
good days fun for little cost.

A trifle cool there as a spectator eh.

Jeff Oil pumps in ALL L series engines are the same BUT FOR THE L28Turbo
which
is the only one with a higher output from 280ZXturbo
With regard your 80 thou bore of a L20b block make sure the block is a Jap
one
not an Aussie one look beneath your oil pressure switch and if JAPAN is cast
in
the block your ok if not you better keep looking Why not try a Z20 same
block
different head and I 've seen some good results from the crossflow head
