Albs,
Mine went straight in no probs. I didn't need to swap them over left to
right. You only do this if the caliper interfers with the steering arm.
There may be some differences btw lower control arms on 1600's. Mine is a
70' model. I have a 72' as well so I will check them out tonight. I think
malcom cooper mentioned this a while back on the list about 68,69 being
different to 70's or maybe it was engine cross members?
Have a look at the tech section on the adelaide 1600 site to see what
problems this may cause.
If your car is lowered I would try a set of bump steer spacers.

Hi all i have just fitted a pair of 240k struts and brakes to my 1600 and
you guessed it I have made another problem (the story of my life) when I =
go
over bumps and accerate the lower control arm pushes into the backing pla=
te
of the disc and causes alot of noise and slows the car. So i have groung
the lip of the edge of the lower control arm and now only rubs and really
large bumps and on full lock. So what's the go I have'nt heard yet of wha=
t
you surposed to do there?
