Chris,
I would definately remove the radiator. It will not only give you more room but the
fins wont get damaged. As far as the engine and trans goes, I would remove/install it
as one unit as it saves a lot of buggering around underneath tha car. I find it
easier to line a tailshaft rather than the trans input shaft. I think you will have
to drop the passanger side steering for the sump to clear (assuming L series here) and
that the car is on ramps for the trans to clear the ground.
