I had the same problem getting my FJ20 Head Bolt Off (it's always the last
one isn't it!!! hehehehe)
I played it safe and bought (aroun $10) a Torque Socket for the bolt size (I
think it was a 17mm) and she didn't slip!!!! The only way that'll slip if
the bolt head is almost a circle... I think you must be using a normal
grooved socket. It's better for when you have to remove or re-tighten again
anyway.....
