I thought we were talking about them afaik there weren't any production
models from Nissan in rwd that came with what you would call a close ratio
box with the possible exception of an early 240Z 5 spd with a flange fitting
on the extension housing end. I actually know were there is one of these and
it could be for sale in Canberra, they're a weird looking thing and I think
it was in a Bluebird as it has a split tailshaft with it.

I couldn't help but overhear the discision of close ratio boxes your were
having and mintioned the lack of them. What about the boxes that
nissan/datsun has developed for racing and rallying? Is it not possible to
obtain one of these nismo boxes?
