Errol,
I had a close look at the gearbox at lunch time and it's not a Z box of any 
description. My guess is that it's from a S3 910 (CA20) as the 3 pointed yoke 
thingy comes out of the extention housing and it's a 4 cyl box as it has an 
alloy spacer plate (i think that rule still holds, steel for L6?). The dude now 
wants to put it in his 1600 as no one would make him a decent offer whatever 
that is for it.
