I just got back from Sorrento (about an hour and 1/4 drive from Melbourne),
and had to thrash my engine just to keep up with traffic!!! I have the
stock dying L18, but a stock 4speed trans and diff, yet doing about 100 to
105KPH, the revs sounded sooooooooo bloody high. When I got out of the car
back at home, I couldn't hear anything that my mum said to me - I'd gone
deff because of a 1 hour drive!! Bastard car - I was just wondering how
many little rev-lings my motor should be doing sitting on flat terain at
100kph (about 60mph) with no wind, and a stock g/box, diff, and
approximately the same (maybe even slightly bigger than stock) tyre
diameter.
