My 510 was originally a 1300 with an "oficial top speed of 93mph(150kph)
which sounds a little optomistic! The same litrature puts the 1600 at 99mph.
I drove my 510 when it had the L13 and it struggled to reach 80mph although
the engine was a little tired. It had a repectable top speed with the L16
SSS motor but still has the L13s diff (4.375:1) so it revs very high to do
100mph! What is the stock diff in your car ...4.11?
