In all of them the selector buggers up and the main bearings go, and to get rebuilt costs an arm and a leg. I've tried a 5 speed out of a sunny, and the same. I am thinking of changing over to a standard auto, to do this what needs to be changed? eg,flywheel, tailshaft, etc. Could I get away with leaving the normal pedals in it, and just disconnecting the clutch pedal? Are there any other cheap autos that bolt straight on?
