Hey people, just a few questions about the 1600sss. I was just wondering what the basic differences were between the 1600 and the 1600sss engine wise? The head is different I know, but is it just the water jacket that varies, or is the compression higher in these too. Can a 1600sss be identified by the engine numbers or just the chassis no, and if so, do they have a specific letter/number to look for?
