Peter,
The factory dealer optioned wheels where ROH Contessa and they were 5.5x13
and not 6x13 and it would have been on the '71 & '72 models only as I think
it started when I was at dad's army (Lennocks). we fitted 185/70x13 tyres
and there were only a few choices at the time and I recall the popular tyre
we fitted was the Olympic GT70 or something like that. It had a very block
style chunky tread, I don't think Aqua squirts even came in that size
(remember them?) What a gimmick and Dunlop sold boatloads of them to us
Aussies so we could go like crazy in the wet. hehe

Datsun with only 4.5x13 but a couple of places fitted 6x13 but never from
