I have a few unusual queries......
I've just been given an fj20t long motor it is complete minus loom, and
comp. and turbo has been pinched...
will now be putting that into my 1200 coupe instead of my z20/z18t combo...
heres the hitch....how different is the bell housing on the FS5W71B box of
the z18 to the fj's pattern....or do any other boxes fit...ie rb20det or
ca18 or l series....I have heaps of other boxes availible but no FJ
boxes...
how hard is it to swap a bell housing.(anyone selling one cheap? - i'm in
NZ)
I also have the need for a factory efi loom and comp...otherwise I might
adapt the z18t loom and use an fj comp with it...still haven't looked into
this ...but what Im really asking is does anyone in aust. or NZ have a loom
and comp or even bits of looms...out of a dr30 or gazelle...
I have a couple of T3 with 40 series exhaust housings so Ill use the best
one in the FJ.
Any other suggestions would be handy...
Anyone got a factory power steer pump and bracket to suit an FJ?
(i'm converting to b/bird PS rack..)
