a mate of mine owned a fwd 1.8l turbo laser bout 91 model. we done the
conversion ourselves. it was a pretty qiuck car, 14.0 at 99mph on standard
computer and boost just a exhaust. anyway stop with the bs he had a similar
problem as the car come on to boost or the engine was underload it was cough
and splutter, backfire and just not go anywhere. this would mainly happen
after a hard night of cruising. anyway we bought a can of carby cleaner and
sprayed it into the intake manifold to give a clean out it seemed to work
just fine. it would just burn off. are u running pulp? just a idea it
worked for him maybe its worth a try...
