Gregg,

I was a bit hard on the Ford guys last night, like I forgot to mention there
was a handful of them that blew me away pretty badly down conrod. I don't
know where these cars are today or even if the 4 pot ford club is still
going but there were a couple of Cosworths that clocked over 150mph and
quiet a few more that were in the 140's but they were geared for going down
the hill, most of them only had 4 speeds and the really quick ones down hill
ran steep diffs like 3.36, but I showed them it's going up the mountain
that's the key to success at Bathurst, I think Andrew would agree having run
there a lot more times than I have and in both directions, speaking of which
I have never run the other way but I think my FJ would have nearly been
quicker going around the other way, now there's a good idea for Bathurst one
day if they want to renew some interest in 2 litre racing in Australia. I
was at a meeting as a spectator a few years back and the HQ boys went around
the wrong way and it was great to watch. The only turbos other than me there
were a couple of stock Sierra's but these were not that competitive for some
unknown reason.

The quickest I've had my 16 up to is about 160 k's. I slowed down when I
went past a power pole with flowers stuck to it, that woke me up a bit. Plus
the fact that I thought the doors were all going to fall off!
