I aggree with brad. Join a local car club and get your cams licence. My
fastest speed is at phillip island about 195km/h. The needle was well past
the last mark on the speedo and I wouldn't dare more than a quick glimpse at
that speed. My road going datsun days are over as I'm sick of been pulled
over by cops just because I drive a old looking bomb. I have been driving a
Nissan micra for 4 years and have not been pulled over once. In the datsun I
was getting pulled over once a month on average and I gave up driving stupid
on the road a long time ago. I have pages of RWC's, canaries and other
paperwork to prove it. My latest is a $500 fine for an unregistered vehicle,
because I didn't have the CH rego paperwork on me at the time, bullshit I
have the paperwork to prove the car is regoed. Sorry Wardy nothing personal
but bastards. So from now on only race datsuns and no road going datsuns for
me.
