Pity they aren't still built like they used to be. They were the only
British car that was serious fun. I had 6 great years of owning a 1310cc
Cooper "S", despite pouring small parts into it regularly, Not engines or
gear boxes but CV joints, bypass hoses (which were easier to fit by removing
the head) and tyres. However it did do 350,000 miles.
