old gearbox oil :(
when I was doing some work at Nissan/Subaru one of the other mechanics took
the gearbox plug all the way out except for 1 thread one day then asked me
to go do a gearbox oil change
I was actually doing something at the moment, and one of the other
apprentices over heard and said "Don't worry bout it mate, you finish that
I'll go do it"
haha needless to say he copped a face full of 200,000km old gearbox oil
the smell didn't come out of his hair for weeks, and he threw those overalls
out cause the smell was making him sick
I still think of how lucky I was that I didn't go do it myself everytime I
do an oil change :)
thank god for those allways over eager apprentices :)
