Paddy,
There's only one real 2000 Sports clutch and that's a genuine Nissan one.
They don't slip! and will pump 200+ hp through the driveline all day and
night and if not abused they can last for what seems like forever. The
non-genuine look a likes might be listed as a SR311 replacement part but
they ain't the same and that goes for the RPM and Daikin offerings. The
closest non oem clutch I've used in a 1600 is a Daikin SA276 but it's not in
the same class as the Nismo item. Most of the difference is in the pressure
plate as the clamping pressure is very high (can't quote numbers as I can't
remember).

g`day all,
just checked out this sports2000(sr311)clutch a lot of people have been
talkin about on here from time to time, turns out its just the h/d std 1600
clutch ive always been usin, listed as R171N in the, whatever that brand
was, parts book. anyone know of a better(cheapish) clutch for these, somthin
thatll grab a hell of a lot harder and not slip like these ones do. it
shits ya off when ya change gears and the clutch starts baggin and youre
left with that foul stench, not sure whats worse that or old gearbox oil,
anyway any suggestions would be great.
cheers
Paddy
