These motors are getting a bit old but supposedly they can be found in complete good nick, so you should still be able to get a loom/computer. We get all ours from Japan, but if that is difficult for you then you could get one from Australia (which would have come from Japan anyway).

I don't know if they are willing to send stuff to England, but I guess if you offer them the $$! Or perhaps someone on the list that is local to the business could help you out!

WooHoo! I finally got my hands on a Gazelle RS-X today! Its a jap spec car with IRS. Goes okay but the power steering doesnt work and the FJ20DET emits a little smoke on over run (rings maybe?) not a problem. The only worrying thing is the wiring. Apparently the previous owner blew the ECU up by connecting jump (booster) leads round the wrong way, so now although the original ECU is still connected, a load of wires are spliced in which are connected to a Bosch unit from a Vauxhall Cavalier (urgh). It would also appear to have the wrong airflow meter. The damn thing does less than 20mpg! (or is that my extra heavy foot) Anybody know where I can get an ECU and airflow meter for it? Or know of one from another model that will work..I don't mind shipping costs etc so it doesnt matter where it comes from! I'd like to get the motor sweet before I pull it out and put it in my 710SSS :-)....(I decided to keep the 510 L-series powered.)

BTW anybody got any specs on the Gazelle RS-X...like what type of turbo it has and HP/ torque figures and servicing data.Or is this info on the web somewhere?
