It's a 68! Definitely grab it. These
were imports, the body id plate will show it was built in Japan (Osaka?) and the
body panels are usually much better at resisting rust than the locally assembled
later versions. They also have the front cross member that gives
better geometry for lowered front suspensions.
The dash will be the older looking one with the
strip speedo. I think these look much better with a few extra guages and the
crash pad recovered (as it will be cracked). Later model dashes can be
installed if you prefer them. The grill, if original, is also much more
solid and polishes well.
